We are excited to offer ground and flight training to selected cadets. Spokane Public Schools allocated grant dollars for our students to take advantage of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.  We partnered with Northwest Flight Service at Felts Field to provide the training. Ground training consists of three phases. Cadets who pass their written exam at the end of each phase will earn a flight with a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI). Cadets who pass all three phases will then earn an endorsement to take the Private Pilot written exam, putting them well on their way to becoming pilots themselves!

We also have a Gleim Aviation Basic Aviation Training Device (BATD flight simulator) in the classroom, plus a pilot-mentor volunteer to provide extra instruction. We are super excited to offer this amazing new program to our cadets!
