SPS offers several free early learning/preschool programs that help children ages 3 to 5 become lifelong learners:

PreK

PreK serves students who turn 4 years old on or before Aug. 31 who will be kindergarteners the following year. The program runs four days a week, Tuesday through Friday, from 8:15 a.m. to 3 p.m. We have one PreK classroom in each of our elementary schools with the goal of enrolling 4-year-olds who turn 4 on or before August 31 into the program at their neighborhood school.

If older siblings are already choiced into another elementary school and space is available, it is possible for a 4-year-old to be placed in PreK at the same school as their older siblings. For information and enrollment, please contact SPS Early Learning at 509-354-5640 or EarlyLearning@spokaneschools.org.
