Spokane Public Schools has one of the largest collections of public art works of any school district in Washington state. Voter support of school bond issues to renovate or replace schools qualifies SPS for state matching assistance. The Washington State Arts Commission coordinates the process for school teams to select artists and collaborate on the artwork for their school.
