“Even after 30 years of coaching, I’m still coachable and trainable, and I always want to learn something new.”

This week, about 50 SPS coaches and club advisors like Lewis and Clark High School head gymnastic coach Michele Kelly participated in “Ignite Your Impact Coaches Clinic” to learn and reinforce training around safety protocols, mental performance and social foundations for coaching, and creating environments that are responsive to student needs and experiences.

Our 11th and 12th grade student leaders were also able to participate in “High Performers’ Summit” to develop their own skills as they prepare for another year of teamwork and perseverance – in the classroom and beyond. We love seeing staff and students engage in learning experiences that create opportunities for others to succeed as well!
