While the expense and planning of field trip transportation has often limited these opportunities for students, Spokane Transit’s zero fare for youth riders has expanded options for elementary school students to get out of the classroom and into our community. Not only will they get to visit different parts of the city and experience hands-on learning, but they’ll learn how to use our local transit system – a skill that will serve them throughout their lives.
