“I feel like I’m going to fly away because I’m going so fast!”
Last week, Garfield Elementary School P.E. teacher Donavon Hodgson led 45 fifth graders on field trip to Mt. Spokane for ski lessons.
For most of the students, it was their first time on skis! This is the third year that a local family donated the funds to make this trip possible in honor of their late mother Linda. We are so grateful for the generosity of community members who create opportunities for students to experience new activities!
