Keep in Mind:
Parents must register their student(s) for their neighborhood school using the New Student Registration form. You can find your neighborhood school using the link below.
If you are interested in attending one of our option schools or a school outside your neighborhood school boundaries, you will also need to complete the School Choice Request Form. First-round School Choice decisions will not be determined until after Feb. 15. Please refer to your request form confirmation messages for decision deadlines. Schools will not be able to answer questions about placement decisions until these dates.
Make sure your student(s) is(are) in compliance with the immunization requirements.

The School Choice Request priority window is Jan. 1 - Feb. 15, 2025. Applications received after Feb. 15 will be added to the waitlist in the order they are received and according to priority order designated in School Board Policy 3131

Option Schools Webinar is Jan. 14, 2025
Join SPS on Jan. 14 at 4 p.m. for an informational webinar about new student registration and school choice request for the 2025-26 school year. SPS Option Program administrators will provide information on the various SPS Option programs across the district. New and returning families are encouraged to attend.
