Eastern Washington Regional Science and Engineering Fair
Many award winners at EWRSEF on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at NEWESD 101 were SPS students.

Two SPS students’ projected were selected to receive an all-expense paid trip to the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), the world’s most prestigious science competition that will be held in Columbus, Ohio this May. Congratulations to Michelle Chen (Ferris) and Amanda Nguyen (LC) on this honor!

On March 28-29, 2025, approximately 800 student participated in the 68th annual WSSEF in Bremerton.
Ten members of Ferris’ Biomed Research Class and Science Fair Club received First Place trophies! Congratulations to Tanmay Bhatt, Michelle Chen, Michael Condon, Teddy Osbourne, Anders Thogerson, Rowan Hastings, Liz Isacoff, Brayden Martin, Ananya Parlapalli, and Alexa Woods!
Several students also received five special awards:

Women Geoscientist Award: Alexa Woods
Genius Olympia Award: Tanmay Bhatt, Teddy Osbourne, and Anders Thorgerson
Stockholm Junior Water Prize Award: Tanmay Bhatt
