This morning, Spokane Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Adam Swinyard and City of Spokane Parks and Recreation Director Garrett Jones shared a historic partnership proposal recommending updates to Spokane's schools, parks and neighborhoods.
The proposal, Together Spokane, is based on years of community input, study, and a commitment to making improvements that will reach every Spokane neighborhood.
This historic effort aligns two proposed ballot initiatives to maximize taxpayer investments in:
Youth Wellness
Education and Workforce Development
Public Safety
Arts & Culture
Healthy Neighborhoods and Adult Recreation
