Earlier this year, Grant Elementary School and several other SPS schools began participating in STEM4Good, an after-school program supported by Washington Alliance for Better Schools (WABS) and LaunchNW to engage students in hands-on STEM activities. Community partner volunteers, like Jule Schultz of Spokane Riverkeeper, lead activities that introduce students to real-world challenges and how to find solutions using science, technology, math and engineering.
