“We are the luckiest school in the state of Washington,” Indian Trail Elementary School principal Brian Ormsby told students at an all-school assembly on Monday morning to recognize Kitchen Manager Angela Noble, who was named Washington State Kitchen Manager of the Year by the Washington School Nutrition Association!

“This is the best school ever,” Miss Angela said as she wiped her eyes in front of the crowd. “You sing with me, you dance with me every day. I love the staff and this school.”

The students gave Miss Angela a standing ovation and chanted her name with thunderous applause in the gym. She exchanged hugs with colleagues and students before celebrating with Nutrition Services staff and her husband Dennis, who also works for the district as a custodial assistant.

Miss Angela is now in the running for Regional Kitchen Manager of the Year! Congratulations, Miss Angela!
