Hello everyone –

today is Friday, January 9th – and lunch today is Thai Chicken and Rice.

We acknowledge that we are on the unceded lands of the Spokane Tribe. The Spokane people shared this place with other tribes through their relations, resources, history, trade, and ceremony. We thank the caretakers of this land, who lived, and continue to live here Since Time Immemorial. This land holds the knowledge, culture, and spirit of “The People of the River”.

Please rise and remove your hats for the pledge of allegiance.  “I pledge allegiance……

We have some opportunities to support our winter sport athletes at Pack the House nights.  Come today at 4pm to cheer on the Unified basketball team as they take on Shadle Park.  There will be free otter pops to enjoy as we cheer on our pirates.  The game starts at 4pm and there is no cost for the event!  Upcoming pack the house dates are January 14th to cheer on our gymnastics team at the Mead Gymnastics Center at 6pm and February 3rd as our basketball teams take on Moscow High School.

Attention actors, singers, and techies! Auditions for our spring musical, Little Shop of Horrors, will be held January 12th–14th. Sign up for monologue and music audition slots on the Theater Green Room door. Prepare a 1-minute monologue and 16–20 bars of a musical song. All-call dance auditions are Wednesday the 14th. Audition packets and details are on the Green Room door. See Olie in the bookroom with any questions!

The care closet is open to all students. Make sure to swing by and check out this new resource located in room R107.
