Come April 26th, a momentous occasion unfolded as KXLY's esteemed Mark Peterson graced the fields with his presence, signaling Garry's status as a finalist. The tension mounted until April 29th, a day etched in Garry's history, when amidst the fervor of a baseball game, the KXLY news team arrived, electrifying the atmosphere with a live proclamation: Garry had been chosen as the recipient of the coveted new fields. With anticipation soaring, preparations swiftly commenced, with the groundbreaking slated for May 16th and the ambitious deadline set for May 23rd. A whirlwind of activity will ensue as the transformation takes shape, culminating in a spectacle of pride and triumph on the evening of the 23rd.
