    Requirements to Join: Completion of WA State Food Handlers Card, Safety Contract/Expectations, PPE Form, Chemical Safety Training Form, Club Member Application

    About: Our Culinary Arts club is in it's 4th full year! This is a student run club where students get a voice in what they want to learn to cook. No cooking experience is needed, we will teach you everything you need to know.

    Some of our previous labs have included: California rolls (sushi), fresh pasta carbonara, super bowl appetizers, holiday sugar cookies, valentines day cake pops, spooky cupcakes, rice krispy treats, international tasting, and much more!

    Field Trips: Previous field trips have included Spokane Community College, Washington State University, 2nd Harvest Food Bank, the Davenport Historic Hotel, the Davenport Grand Hotel, Island Style Grill & BBQ, and Kismet (restaurant).

ProStart State Invitational

  • Students in the Culinary Arts competition AND in the ProStart class may have the opportunity to compete in the annual Washington State ProStart State Competition! Teams consist of 2 to 5 students who create a restaurant business plan, and present their concept to industry professional judges.
